What should you know about Perfectha for fine lines?

Fine lines can reflect repeated facial movement, gradual changes in skin support, sun-damaged skin, dryness, or a combination of factors. Filler adds volume beneath or within the skin, so it is suited to selected lines rather than every wrinkle. Around the eyes, careful assessment is especially important because the skin is thin and the anatomy is complex. Crow's feet caused mainly by muscle movement may be approached differently from etched lines or texture changes.

A consultation should cover the product, injection sites, expected appearance, alternatives, and your medical history. Perfectha is not the same as Botox, which acts on muscle activity, and neither treatment replaces evaluation of a new skin lesion.

Choose a licensed medical professional experienced with facial injectables. Mention allergies, previous filler, active skin infection, dental procedures, medicines that affect bleeding, and any history of significant swelling. After treatment, follow the clinic's instructions, avoid pressing or massaging the area unless told to do so, and allow early swelling or bruising to settle before judging the result. Ask when exercise, makeup, heat exposure, or another procedure can be resumed.

Call the injector urgently for unusual or increasing pain, pale or dusky skin, marked swelling, or changes in vision. These symptoms can signal a problem with blood flow and need immediate assessment. Seek emergency help for breathing difficulty or swelling of the tongue or throat. Any persistent lump, infection-like redness, or worsening tenderness should also be reviewed.
