Other spondylosis with myelopathy: what to know

Spondylosis is age-related wear in the spine. In the neck, discs, joints, ligaments, or bone spurs can narrow the space around the spinal cord. Myelopathy means the cord is being irritated or compressed, which can affect signals travelling to the arms, hands, legs, and bladder. Symptoms may include hand clumsiness, dropping objects, altered sensation, weakness, neck discomfort, balance problems, or a change in walking.
