What should you know about nipple reconstruction skin graft?

Your surgeon removes a thin piece of skin from a chosen donor area and places it over a prepared site. The graft needs gentle handling and a clean, well-supported surface while it joins the surrounding tissue. Colour, texture, sensation, and the final projection can change as healing progresses. A graft may be part of a broader reconstruction plan rather than the only procedure.
