Neem oil for keratosis pilaris: what to know

Keratosis pilaris, sometimes called chicken skin, forms when keratin builds up around hair follicles. The result is often small, rough bumps on the upper arms, thighs, cheeks, or buttocks. Neem oil is a plant oil with a strong scent and skin-conditioning properties; it may reduce dryness for some people, but it does not remove the follicle plugs in a predictable way.
