What should you know about Nd:YAG laser skin tightening?

The clinician moves a handpiece across selected areas such as the face, jawline, neck, or body. Nd:YAG energy warms tissue beneath the surface while the skin is monitored and cooled when needed. The aim is a subtle change in skin feel or laxity, not removal of excess skin.

Suitability depends on the amount and type of laxity, skin thickness, tone, sensitivity, and your expectations. Some people notice a short-term tightening sensation, while a gradual response may take time. A consultation should also consider other causes of loose-looking skin, including volume changes or muscle movement.
