Natural Way to Remove Skin Tags: What to Know

A skin tag is a soft, usually flesh-coloured growth that often appears where skin rubs against skin or clothing, such as the neck, underarms, eyelids, or groin. It may hang from a narrow stalk. Similar-looking growths can be warts, moles, or other lesions, so a new or changing spot should not be assumed to be a skin tag.

Cutting, tying thread around, burning, or applying acidic household products can cause uncontrolled bleeding, a painful wound, infection, or scarring. These methods can also obscure a lesion that needs a proper diagnosis.
