Contact your maternity service urgently for leaking fluid, vaginal bleeding, regular painful contractions, severe abdominal pain, breathlessness at rest, or a clear reduction or change in fetal movement. Seek emergency help for severe breathing difficulty, fainting, or heavy bleeding. New rapid abdominal enlargement or marked swelling should also be discussed promptly because it can signal a change requiring assessment.
