My scalp itches intensely

Dandruff often presents with scalp itching and visible flaking. Seborrheic dermatitis may add greasy scale and redness around the ears, eyebrows, or sides of the nose. A reaction to hair dye, shampoo, oil, or styling product may cause burning, rash, or itch soon after use. Scratching can break the skin and increase the chance of irritation or infection.
