Prickly heat, also called heat rash or miliaria, develops when sweat is trapped near the skin surface. It can cause small bumps, redness, stinging, or an itchy feeling, especially in skin folds and areas covered by tight or non-breathable clothing. A cooling product can make the skin feel more comfortable while the irritation settles. Check the product label first, because fragrance, alcohol, or other ingredients may irritate already inflamed skin.

Move to a cooler environment, keep the affected area dry, and wear loose, breathable clothing. Wash gently with lukewarm water and pat rather than rub. Avoid heavy oils, occlusive creams, vigorous scrubbing, and scratching unless a clinician has recommended a specific product. Use Magicool Plus only as directed and stop if burning, swelling, or worsening redness develops.
