What should you know about lyrica rash?

A new rash can appear for several reasons. A drug eruption is one possibility when symptoms begin after starting, restarting, or changing a medicine, but timing alone cannot confirm the cause. The rash may be itchy, red, raised, or widespread. Other conditions can resemble it, including contact dermatitis, heat rash, psoriasis, ringworm, scabies, intertrigo, or atopic dermatitis.

Urgent assessment is also needed for skin pain, blisters, peeling, sores in the mouth or eyes, fever, or marked illness. These features can signal a serious medicine reaction and should not be monitored at home.
