Loss of libido symptoms

Short answer
Loss of libido symptoms include reduced interest in sexual activity, fewer sexual thoughts, less arousal, or distress about a change from your usual desire.
This answers one question. It is not a diagnosis and does not replace an assessment by a licensed doctor.

How it can appear
Some people notice less spontaneous desire, while others remain interested but find arousal difficult. The change may be temporary or persistent, and it may affect partnered sex, masturbation or both. Stress, relationship strain, poor sleep, pain, medication and life transitions can contribute. Depression may present with reduced pleasure across activities, while Burnout can leave a person emotionally and physically depleted. Hypothyroidism and Type 2 Diabetes can also affect energy, mood or sexual function.
Track and support yourself
Note when the change began, whether it varies with stress or sleep, and any pain, dryness, mood change or medicine change. Protect rest, address sources of pressure and speak honestly with a partner about consent and expectations. Avoid unregulated libido products. Book a primary-care review if the symptom persists, causes distress or affects your relationship; the clinician may discuss health history, medicines and relevant examinations.
When it needs attention
Seek prompt care for sudden sexual-function changes with severe headache, weakness, chest pain or fainting, or for genital pain, bleeding, sores or unusual discharge. Seek urgent mental-health help for thoughts of self-harm. A non-urgent appointment is sensible when low desire follows a new medicine or occurs with persistent fatigue, low mood, thirst or changes in weight.
