Ask the clinic which system it uses and which treatment techniques are available there. Find out how your plan is checked before the first session, how the machine is tested between patients, and what happens if equipment needs servicing. Ask whether image guidance is part of your plan and whether another machine or centre would be needed if a technical problem interrupts treatment. These questions help you assess care without trying to choose a manufacturer yourself.

Speak with the treatment unit if a session is delayed, you cannot be positioned comfortably, or you notice a change in the way a treatment appointment is carried out. Report symptoms such as severe pain, new weakness, breathing difficulty, or repeated vomiting without waiting for the next routine review.
