Left lower abdominal pain during ovulation: what should you know?

Ovulation pain may feel like a brief cramp or sharp ache on the side releasing an egg. Pain can also come from bowel, bladder, abdominal-wall, or pelvic tissues. Endometriosis, ovarian cysts, pelvic inflammatory disease, adenomyosis, and uterine fibroids can present with pelvic or lower abdominal pain.
