Dermatology treatments may include steroid injection, cryotherapy, laser treatment, or surgery, often selected according to size, symptoms, and previous scar behaviour.

Seek a dermatology appointment if the lump is expanding, itchy, tender, or changing the shape of the earlobe. Get prompt care if redness spreads, the ear becomes hot, drainage develops, fever appears, or pain escalates quickly.
