Is cortisone injection done with corticosteroid?

Cortisone is a type of corticosteroid. In an injection, the medicine is placed near a painful or inflamed joint, tendon area, or other selected tissue. New weakness, loss of sensation, or inability to use the limb also needs prompt assessment.
