How the technology works

Before and after treatment
Tell the clinician about recent tanning, medicines that increase light sensitivity, active rashes, pigment changes, scarring, or previous reactions. Follow the clinic’s instructions about shaving and avoiding waxing or plucking. Afterward, protect the area from heat and strong sun, use the recommended soothing care, and do not pick irritated skin. Treatment settings should be adjusted to your skin rather than copied from another person.

Seek prompt advice for blistering, severe or increasing pain, spreading swelling, pus, fever, or skin colour changes that are worsening rather than settling. Eye exposure or any change in vision after treatment requires urgent assessment. Keep follow-up instructions available, especially when treating the face or an area with darker pigmentation.
