What should you know about intracel fractional RF microneedling?

The device places insulated or non-insulated needles at selected depths, then delivers radiofrequency energy beneath the surface. The treatment is fractional, so untreated skin remains between treated points. A clinician may use it for acne scars, enlarged pores, fine lines, or uneven texture after assessing skin type and the concern being treated.

A numbing cream may be used. Temporary redness, warmth, swelling, pinpoint bleeding, or roughness can occur. The skin may look calmer before deeper remodelling becomes noticeable, and a course of sessions may be suggested rather than a single visit.

Tell the clinician about active acne, eczema, cold sores, poor wound healing, medicines that affect bleeding, recent tanning, and implanted electrical devices. Arrive with clean skin and follow instructions about retinoids or exfoliants. Afterwards, use the recommended gentle cleanser, moisturiser, and sun protection; avoid picking, intense heat, swimming, and irritating products until the surface has recovered.

Contact the clinic if redness or swelling is worsening instead of settling, or if you develop increasing pain, pus, spreading warmth, fever, marked blistering, or dark or pale patches that concern you. Eye-area treatment needs urgent review for visual symptoms or severe swelling.
