The word industrial describes the engineering and manufacturing setting of the equipment; in a hospital, the accelerator is operated under clinical safety procedures. It may deliver conventional radiotherapy or highly focused techniques, depending on the treatment plan.

Follow the centre's instructions about medicines, clothing, food, and skin care.
