What should you know about implantation headache?

Short answer
A headache is not a dependable sign of implantation or pregnancy; dehydration, stress, illness, hormones, or migraine may be more relevant explanations.
This answers one question. It is not a diagnosis and does not replace an assessment by a licensed doctor.

How to interpret the symptom
Headache can feel like pressure, throbbing, or pain in one area or across the head. Changes in sleep, meals, fluids, caffeine, stress, or hormones may trigger it. A headache by itself cannot show that implantation occurred, and symptoms overlap with common conditions such as a common cold, allergic rhinitis, chronic sinusitis, or anxiety.
Fever, congestion, cough, diarrhoea, or recent exposure may point toward an infection such as COVID-19. In the UAE, overheating and fluid loss can also contribute; heat exhaustion and dehydration deserve attention when dizziness, weakness, or heavy sweating accompany the headache.
Steps that may help
Rest in a quiet, dim room, drink fluids, eat if you have missed a meal, and take a break from screens. Note the onset, location, severity, triggers, sleep, temperature, and any medicine used. If pregnancy is possible, check with a pharmacist or clinician before taking a new medicine, because some options are unsuitable in pregnancy.
A pregnancy test is more informative than headache symptoms. If headaches recur, a clinician can check blood pressure, vision, neurological symptoms, hydration, and possible sinus or infection-related causes.
When to seek care
Seek urgent care for a sudden severe headache, new weakness or numbness, confusion, fainting, a stiff neck, repeated vomiting, vision loss, or a high fever with a severe headache. Get medical advice if the headache follows a head injury, keeps returning, or is different from your usual pattern. During possible pregnancy, a severe or persistent headache with vision changes or marked swelling should be assessed promptly.
Questions for your doctor
Could dehydration, sinus symptoms, infection, or migraine fit this pattern? Which pain medicines are suitable if pregnancy is possible? Should my blood pressure or vision be checked? What changes would make this an emergency?
