Report changes in urination, fever, rash, diarrhoea, cough, breathlessness, jaundice, or unusual tiredness. Keep appointments for staging and laboratory checks, even if urinary symptoms improve.

Contact the care team promptly for difficulty passing urine, fever, worsening blood in the urine, new flank pain, persistent vomiting, or much less urine. Seek urgent care for inability to pass urine with severe pain, heavy bleeding, severe breathlessness, fainting, or confusion. These symptoms can reflect blockage, infection, bleeding, treatment effects, or another urgent problem.

Ask what the staging tests show, why immunotherapy is being proposed, how it relates to chemotherapy or bladder removal surgery, and whether treatment is given before or after an operation. Ask about urinary reconstruction, expected monitoring, and the number to call for fever or urinary blockage.
