The enzyme acts on hyaluronic acid, the material used in many lip fillers. It may be considered for excess volume, unevenness, migration, or a suspected filler-related problem. It does not remove every type of filler, and swelling from the original injection can make the result difficult to judge early. A clinician may first identify the product, location, and amount placed before discussing whether targeted treatment is sensible.

Do not buy or inject an online product yourself. Arrange an examination with a licensed medical injector or dermatologist, and bring the filler name, date, and injection area if available. Tell them about allergies, previous reactions, medicines, and any earlier dissolving treatment. Afterward, follow the clinic’s instructions, avoid pressing or massaging the lips unless advised, and attend the planned review so residual filler and swelling can be distinguished.

Contact the treating clinic promptly for worsening pain, marked colour change, increasing warmth, spreading redness, blistering, or rapidly increasing swelling. Seek emergency help for breathing difficulty, throat or tongue swelling, faintness, or widespread hives.
