What should you know about hyaluronic acid before after?

A comparison soon after an injection can be misleading because redness, bruising, tenderness, swelling, or small raised points may temporarily affect the appearance. The intended change depends on the product, injection depth, body area, and your starting anatomy. Photographs taken in different lighting or with different expressions do not provide a reliable clinical comparison. Your clinician can tell you when a review is useful and what change is realistic for the selected treatment.

Before treatment, disclose medicines, allergies, skin disease, previous filler, recent dental or cosmetic procedures, and any earlier reaction. Confirm who will inject, what product will be used, and who to contact afterward. Follow the written plan for washing, touching, pressure, exercise, heat, and makeup. Do not press firmly on a lump or arrange another procedure before the area has been assessed. Keep any follow-up appointment, especially if the result is uneven or symptoms persist.

Contact the clinic promptly when pain, swelling, redness, or heat is worsening, or when the treated skin becomes pale, dark, cool, or blistered. Emergency assessment is needed for vision changes, facial weakness, trouble speaking, breathing difficulty, or widespread hives. Take a photograph only if it does not delay care; a clinician’s examination is more useful than relying on an image alone.
