How does robotic knee replacement work?

Before surgery, the team creates a model of your knee from imaging or records movement and alignment during the operation. The surgeon uses this information to plan the size, alignment and position of the replacement. During the procedure, the system provides guidance and may limit instruments to the planned working area. The surgeon remains responsible for each decision and performs the operation.
