Unintended weight change is not specific to stomach cancer. Stress, dental problems, digestive illnesses, medicines, hormone conditions, and infections can all be relevant. A clinician looks for the combination and timing of symptoms rather than treating weight alone as an explanation.

Book a medical appointment if your weight is falling without a planned change in diet or activity.
