Hair Loss Due to Folliculitis: What to Know

Folliculitis is inflammation around hair follicles. On the scalp it may cause itchy or tender spots, Pimples, Skin Bumps, crusts or drainage. Ingrown Hairs and friction from helmets, close shaving or tight styles can contribute. Scratching can break hairs and worsen irritation.
