What should you know about fresh hair transplant?

A transplant moves hair follicles from a donor area to thinning or bald areas. In the early phase, the scalp can feel tight, tender, numb, itchy, or swollen, and small crusts may form around grafts. Some transplanted hairs can shed while the follicles remain in place; visible growth takes time and develops gradually. The donor area also needs protection.
