What should you know about fat dissolving injections on cheeks?

A clinician first checks whether fullness comes from subcutaneous fat, muscle, skin laxity, swelling, or the natural shape of the cheek. Contact the treating clinic promptly if swelling is rapidly worsening, pain is severe or escalating, the skin becomes increasingly red and hot, or drainage and fever develop. Seek urgent medical help for trouble breathing, widespread hives, faintness, or swelling of the lips, tongue, or throat. New facial weakness, difficulty smiling, or marked asymmetry also needs prompt assessment.
