Before treatment, a clinician assesses brow symmetry, the direction of existing hairs, skin quality, and the reason for thinning. A design is drawn so the inner brow, arch, and tail fit your facial proportions. Follicles are usually taken from a donor area and placed individually to imitate the fine angle of eyebrow hair.

After the procedure, redness, small crusts, swelling, or uneven-looking hairs can make the brows appear different from the final result. Some transplanted hairs shed after placement while the follicles settle. New growth is gradual, and the hairs may need regular trimming because donor hair can keep its original growth pattern.

Bring photographs that show your preferred brow shape, and mention previous procedures, skin conditions, medicines, and any tendency to form raised scars. Follow the clinic’s instructions for washing, touching, sleeping position, sun protection, and activity. Do not pluck, rub, or apply unapproved cosmetics to healing skin. Contact the treating clinic promptly if pain, warmth, redness, swelling, or discharge is worsening rather than settling, or if you develop fever or vision changes. Sudden loss of vision, severe eye pain, or rapidly increasing swelling around the eye needs urgent medical assessment.
