What should you know about eruptive stage of measles?

Measles commonly begins with fever, cough, a runny nose and irritated, watery eyes. The rash then often starts on the face or near the hairline before moving down the body. It may consist of flat or slightly raised red spots that merge as it spreads. Fever can continue while the rash is present, and tiredness may be pronounced.
