Dry skin on the foreskin and yeast infection

Yeast-related inflammation can present with itch, redness, soreness, fine scaling, small splits or discomfort when the foreskin moves. Soap, sweat, friction, antibiotics, diabetes and sensitive skin can also disturb the area. Rinse with lukewarm water, gently retract only as far as comfortable, and dry before replacing the foreskin. Avoid fragranced wash, antiseptic, scrubbing and unprescribed combination creams.
