Does targeted therapy treat non-Hodgkin lymphoma?

Non-Hodgkin lymphoma is a group of blood cancers rather than one single disease. The lymphoma’s cell type, grade, stage, symptoms, and previous treatment affect the plan. Targeted medicines may recognise a marker on lymphoma cells or interrupt a signal that helps those cells grow. A pathology review and laboratory testing can show whether a particular medicine is relevant.

Call the oncology service urgently for fever, chills, a new cough, painful urination, unusual bleeding, severe diarrhoea, or a rapidly enlarging swelling. During an infusion, report back pain, flushing, wheezing, dizziness, or throat tightness immediately. Emergency care is needed for severe breathing trouble, fainting, confusion, or uncontrolled bleeding.
