Does radiotherapy treat lymphoma?

Bring your scan reports and medicine list to the planning visit, and mention previous radiotherapy or operations. Ask whether the treatment area includes the neck, chest, abdomen, or another region, since side effects differ by location. Keep the skin in the treatment area clean as advised and tell the team about new soreness, swelling, fever, or difficulty eating. Continue follow-up after treatment so scans and symptoms can be reviewed. Never pause lymphoma medicines or radiotherapy sessions without advice from your care team.

Seek urgent help for trouble breathing, sudden confusion, severe weakness, or inability to swallow. Contact the lymphoma team promptly for fever, rapidly enlarging swelling, uncontrolled pain, or repeated vomiting.
