Does fractional laser treatment treat keloid scars?

A keloid is scar tissue that grows beyond the original wound and can remain firm, raised, itchy, tender, or darker than nearby skin. This can help remodel surface texture and may make a scar feel less stiff, yet a keloid can continue to grow or return after treatment.
