Does ashy dermatosis cause dark patches on skin?

Ashy dermatosis is a pigmentary skin condition associated with flat grey, blue-grey, or brown-grey areas. Patches may appear on the trunk, arms, or other parts of the body, and their edges may be subtle. The colour can look different across skin tones and may become more noticeable after tanning or irritation.
