Does a medical oncology perform PARP inhibitor therapy?

PARP inhibitors block proteins involved in repairing damaged DNA. Some cancer cells already have weaknesses in DNA repair, so blocking an additional repair route can make it harder for those cells to survive.

Get emergency care for severe breathing difficulty, uncontrolled bleeding, fainting or sudden chest pain. Bring the medicine name or treatment card so clinicians can identify the therapy quickly.
