A new referral can still be requested if you are changing clinics, returning after a long interval, or using a different health-plan pathway.

Before transfer, the team may review the uterus, menstrual cycle or hormone plan, medications, embryo records, and consent for storage and use. Your clinician will explain whether the lining is prepared through a natural cycle or medication-supported cycle.

Start with the clinic holding the embryos. Ask whether you need a new referral, which consent forms must be updated, and whether your health plan requires a separate authorization. If another clinic is involved, request transfer of laboratory and medical records before booking.
