Observe colour, smell, amount, and clarity without repeatedly checking or trying to flush the change with excessive water. If it happens again, write down when it occurs and any recent illness, exercise, supplements, or genital discharge. A clinician can advise whether a clean-catch urine sample is useful, particularly when the change persists.

Arrange a review if cloudiness lasts, returns often, or is joined by burning, urgency, blood, unusual smell, pelvic discomfort, fever, or back or side pain. Seek urgent care for severe pain, vomiting, confusion, fainting, or very little urine.
