Smiling lifts the cheeks and changes the folds beside the nose and mouth. Call the clinic promptly for increasing pain, unusual pale or dusky skin, marked asymmetry, blisters, or a new visual symptom. A new weakness, severe headache, or difficulty speaking also needs urgent medical assessment. Emergency help is needed for breathing trouble, throat swelling, or collapse.
