A male dog with brucellosis may have testicular or reproductive changes, reduced fertility, enlarged lymph nodes, or general illness. Some infected dogs show few outward signs. The bacteria can spread through reproductive fluids, blood, urine, or contaminated materials, so breeding and close contact need veterinary guidance while the diagnosis is being assessed.
