The clinician may target selected muscles around the lower face or outer eye area, depending on the reason the cheeks appear pulled downward. The result is subtle and temporary, and suitability depends on facial anatomy and movement.

There is no single injection pattern called a Botox cheek lift. People may use the phrase for treatment intended to reduce downward muscle pull, soften nearby expression lines, or create a small change in visual balance. Botox does not replace lost midface volume, tighten loose skin in the same way as surgery, or correct every cause of cheek descent. An in-person assessment should include your resting face, smiling pattern, bite, skin quality, previous procedures, and any asymmetry.
