Seek urgent medical attention for sudden shortness of breath, chest pain, coughing blood, one-sided leg swelling or pain, sudden weakness, trouble speaking, sudden vision changes or an abrupt severe headache. These can be signs of a clot or stroke.

Promptly contact a clinician for new migraine aura, yellow skin or eyes, severe abdominal pain, a ring that cannot be removed, marked depression, or vaginal pain, discharge or odour suggesting infection. Emergency help is needed if you may harm yourself.
