What should you know about bigeminy and fatigue?

Short answer
Bigeminy can make some people feel tired or aware of extra beats, but fatigue may also have a separate cause and needs context.
This answers one question. It is not a diagnosis and does not replace an assessment by a licensed doctor.

How the rhythm and fatigue may connect
Bigeminy is a pattern in which a premature beat follows a regular beat repeatedly or intermittently. People may describe fluttering, pounding, a pause, or a skipped beat. Some have no symptoms and discover the pattern during an examination or ECG. Fatigue can occur when palpitations disrupt sleep or when the heart rhythm reduces how efficiently the heart fills and pumps. Tiredness can also accompany anaemia, dehydration, infection, kidney disease, alcohol use, stress or burnout, so the rhythm does not explain every episode of low energy.
What to do next
Record when the tiredness and palpitations occur, how long they last, and what you were doing. Note medicines, supplements, caffeine, alcohol, illness, fluid intake and sleep around each episode. Arrange a clinical review for an ECG and, if needed, monitoring or blood tests. Until reviewed, take prescribed medicines as directed, drink regularly unless you have been told to restrict fluids, and avoid changing heart medicines or supplements on your own.
When symptoms are urgent
Seek emergency help for palpitations with chest pain, fainting, severe breathlessness, confusion, or sudden weakness. Prompt assessment is also appropriate if fatigue is rapidly worsening, you feel dizzy repeatedly, or the heartbeat remains very fast or irregular. A known heart condition, pregnancy, or a new rhythm pattern lowers the threshold for contacting a clinician.
Questions for your clinician
Ask whether your symptoms match bigeminy, whether an ECG or longer monitor is needed, and whether medicines, electrolytes or another illness could contribute. Ask which activities, drinks or symptoms should lead you to seek urgent help.

Questions people ask
Can bigeminy cause tiredness?
It can contribute to tiredness for some people, but fatigue may have another cause and should be assessed with the full symptom pattern.
Does fatigue prove a dangerous rhythm?
No. Fatigue alone cannot establish the cause; an ECG and clinical assessment help interpret the rhythm.
