Read the full instructions, confirm that the body area is approved, and perform the recommended patch test. Use clean, dry skin and the setting recommended for your tone. Avoid overlapping flashes or treating more often than instructed. Protect treated skin from strong sun, stop irritating exfoliants if the instructions advise it, and clean the device window after use.

Stop using the device and seek medical assessment for blistering, an open wound, severe or worsening pain, marked swelling, spreading redness, pus, eye symptoms, or a persistent change in skin colour. Cool the area gently; do not place ice directly on injured skin or apply another treatment over a burn.

Get individual advice before use if you take a medicine that increases light sensitivity, scar thickly, have an active rash or infection, or have recently tanned. Sudden or increasing coarse hair growth can also warrant assessment for an underlying hormonal cause.
