Anti-TNF treatment for ankylosing spondylitis

Attend scheduled monitoring and learn the storage and injection instructions for your product. Continue prescribed exercise and physiotherapy because medicine controls inflammation but does not replace work on mobility, posture, strength, and breathing expansion.

Contact the treating team promptly if you develop fever, a persistent cough, painful urination, an infected wound, shingles-like blisters, or another sign of infection. Ask for instructions before the next dose rather than making an extended treatment change yourself.

Seek urgent care for severe breathing difficulty, swelling of the face or throat, fainting, chest pain, or rapidly worsening weakness. Report new numbness, vision changes, unexplained bruising, or marked fatigue without waiting for a routine appointment.
