Before treatment, obtain medical assessment for a mark that is new, evolving, irregular, varied in colour, repeatedly bleeding, persistently itchy, or not healing. After laser, contact the clinic for worsening pain, pronounced swelling, blisters, discharge, open skin, or an unexpected light or dark patch. Eye pain or altered vision after treatment near the face requires urgent assessment.
