Your clinic may use a blood hCG measurement or specify when to use a urine test. Follow its schedule because the type of embryo transfer, medicine plan and testing method shape how a result should be read.

Cramping, fullness, breast soreness, fatigue and small amounts of spotting may reflect treatment medicines or changes after the procedure. Feeling these effects does not prove pregnancy, while feeling completely usual does not rule it out.

A clinic may interpret an hCG result in context or arrange another sample to examine how the level changes. A single home test can be affected by diluted urine or testing technique, so do not alter treatment without direct guidance.

Use progesterone and other medicines exactly as listed on your treatment plan. If a dose was late, missed or not retained because of vomiting, contact the clinic or pharmacist for instructions instead of doubling it on your own.

Keep the testing appointment and have your medication list ready when the team calls. Continue ordinary gentle activity if comfortable and permitted, stay hydrated, and check with the clinic before adding medicines, herbal products or intense exercise.

Call the clinic the same day if pelvic pain is increasing, bleeding is heavier than light spotting, you develop fever, or nausea and vomiting prevent fluids or medication from staying down. Explain when the symptom started and whether it is getting worse.

Go to urgent care for severe abdominal pain, pain focused on one side, shoulder-tip pain, collapse or faintness, chest discomfort, or shortness of breath. Do not wait for scheduled blood results when these warning signs occur.

Clarify which result the clinic considers definitive, when you will hear from the team, and what the next appointment will involve. Ask for written medicine instructions for both possible results and a contact number for urgent concerns outside clinic hours.
