How haemorrhoid bleeding behaves

Swollen veins around the anus can bleed bright red blood on toilet paper, the stool surface, or in the toilet after passing stool. Itching, irritation, a lump, or discomfort may occur, especially with straining. Haemorrhoids do not account for every type of rectal bleeding.
