When Is RF Microneedling Recommended for Stretch Marks?

Stretch marks form when the skin’s deeper support structures change as the body grows or changes. RF microneedling uses fine needles and radiofrequency heat to create controlled stimulation in selected skin layers. During healing, collagen remodelling may soften uneven texture and make some marks less noticeable.

The approach may differ for newer red or purple marks and older pale or indented marks. It does not erase a stretch mark, and untreated causes of rapid skin change may need attention first. Skin tone and a tendency to develop dark marks are part of the assessment.

Arrange an examination with a qualified clinician and explain when the marks appeared, whether they are changing, and whether you are pregnant, breastfeeding, or planning a pregnancy. Mention eczema, infection, medicines, previous procedures, slow healing, and any history of raised scars.
