When is carboxytherapy recommended for stretch marks?

Stretch marks, also called striae, are lines that form when the skin stretches or changes quickly. They may be red, purple, pink, or lighter than surrounding skin, and they can appear on the abdomen, hips, thighs, breasts, arms, or other areas. Carboxytherapy uses small injections of medical carbon dioxide into the skin. It may encourage a local tissue response and improve texture or colour contrast, but it cannot restore skin to an earlier state.

The timing and colour of a mark, its depth, location, and your tendency to develop darker or lighter marks after injury all affect planning. Pregnancy, breastfeeding, active skin inflammation, and some medical conditions may change whether treatment is advised.
