What to expect from carboxytherapy for stretch marks

Stretch marks are areas where the skin has changed after stretching, and they can be red, purple, pink, or lighter than surrounding skin. The clinician checks their age, colour, width, and location before choosing injection points. A fine needle introduces carbon dioxide beneath or within the marked skin.

You may notice pressure, warmth, or a brief sting during each injection. Small raised areas can appear as the gas disperses, then settle.
